A Little Holiday Life Lately

Happy (finally!) Friday! I can’t thank everyone enough for the sweet comments and wonderful feedback from my apartment tour on the Everygirl yesterday. You all seriously made my week and I’m beyond excited to share my home with you. Thanks a million!

As we head into yet another very busy holiday weekend (I have two parties, a pizza making class, a brunch, a dessert date, and somehow have to get some shopping and baking down in between!) I wanted to thank everyone who participated in and read the Be My Valentine guest post series this week. I seriously had a ton of fun and I hope we can continue all the love here!

Meanwhile, I enjoyed taking a week off from blogging, even though life seems more hectic than ever! Above is just a few snapshots from the past week, which you’ve seen if you follow me on instagram. Lots of color, pattern, decorating, a mix of really healthy and unhealthy food (um hello cheddar biscuit, sausage and gravy!), and some great times out in DC.

Looking forward to getting back to posting and sharing some fun things soon!

Something new!

Does something look different? Eek, I’m so excited to launch the updated Cupcakes for Breakfast! What do you think? Of course, I’ll still be blogging my favorite sweets and interiors and my glamourous hopes and dreams, but hopefully with a little more spunk and style now.

Let’s celebrate with some of my favorite sugar cookies! These are just like those ones in the plastic container you get at the grocery store…but SO much better because they’re homemade and baked with a whole lot of love. Fit for any party or blog launch!

I’ve been cooking up this redesign for a while and I’m so thrilled that it’s here to share now! I can’t forget to thank the lovely Suite Paperie for the classy design elements and my talented boyfriend Chris Zarconi for the fun new photos on the “about” page! Look out for more collaborations with these two wonderful people very soon!
