I wanted to thank everyone who participated in and read the Be My Valentine guest post series this week. I seriously had a ton of fun and I hope we can continue all the love here!

Meanwhile, I enjoyed taking a week off from blogging, even though life seems more hectic than ever! Above is just a few snapshots from the past week, which you’ve seen if you follow me on instagram. Lots of color, pattern, decorating, a mix of really healthy and unhealthy food (um hello cheddar biscuit, sausage and gravy!), and some great times out in DC.

Looking forward to getting back to posting and sharing some fun things soon!

Hit the Floor

Ah, the rug: the foundation of any great (or poor) room design. An new area rug is just one of the many accents I’d really like to change up in the “living room” of my studio apartment. There are so many great designs out there though and I’m having trouble/so much fun picking just one style. I could go bright and bold or with a more muted pattern. Tell me, which one is your favorite?

Eclectic designer

When I came across images of this home, I instantly was attracted to it. But I couldn’t put my finger on why. It’s a little different than most interiors that I’m drawn to. It all just works here.

This is designer Jacqui Getty’s LA home as featured in C Magazine. After closer examination, I guess I love the combination of girly accents, various collections and patterns and pink flowers in every room! (When I actually live in a home with more than one room, I’m definitely using this method to tie everything together!)

Luxury Monograms

Just fell in love with the new designs from Luxury Monograms. The fabrics and fonts are so fun. And the photo styling is even more so! The only thing to think about is which one to get… (I’ve got a soft spot for the chevron pillows) Choose from pillows, placemats, napkins and totes and then from a beautiful assortment of patterns, colors and monogram styles. Absolutely fabulous!
