I’ve always been a sucker for string lights. While I’d probably do them up a bit more ornate, I love the elegant ease of these two. This invitation would provide a perfect twinkling preview of a magical night ahead. Simple. Lovely.

Hi, Becca here from Suite Paperie in NYC. I’m so excited to be guest posting here on Cupcakes for Breakfast. It’s one of my all time favorite blogs; constantly filled with beautiful inspiration for the home, recipes and fashion. Today we are doing a great Valentine’s Day giveaway that includes a vintage tin cigarette case and the perfect sentiment for your man. We’ll also be sharing a super fast and easy DIY Valentine’s Day card. Read on, enjoy and good luck in the giveaway!

What you’ll need:
* You can make your own liner out of any paper you may have lying around. Get creative here- think wrapping paper, newspaper, magazine pages or even scraps of fabric you might have will work. Trace the envelope onto your desired liner and cut about 1/4″ inside your trace line. Cut of half an inch at the bottom of the liner and you should be good to go! Place your liner in your envelope, fold the flap down and crease your liner into the fold line. Secure your liner with double sided tape and there you have it- a custom envelope liner.
Now onto the card.

Suite Paperie created this one of a kind vintage valentine and one lucky reader will win it just in time to give to their valentine. The “Smokin’ Hot” valentine comes with a mini cherry flavored cigar tied with a crimson ribbon all tucked away in a gorgeous vintage tin cigarette case. To enter, “like” Suite Paperie and Cupcakes for Breakfast on Facebook and leave a comment below telling us that you did so. I’ll announce the winner on Thursday and Becca will mail the card right away!

It’s gift guides galore out there. And I’m so thankful for them because I’ve gotten some great ideas. To supplement all the goodies out there, I wanted to post a few more things that are both great gifts and near/dear to my heart.
I’m a serious paper hoarder and I love the specialness of a handwritten note. I couldn’t help but share these personalized note sets from Suite Paperie. Who wouldn’t love these? My personal fave is the “golden scramble” – how about you?
Haven’t picked out holiday cards yet? Well don’t fret, Suite Paperie will also design a custom set for you. I just love these ones…
Just lovely. Get your Suite on here.
No, no, this isn’t a repeat of my last post! Something new…
A great friend of mine started Suite Paperie, a design house that creates gorgeous custom ”suites” for events and businesses. Becca is super talented and designs the most beautiful things – from our college yearbook to every detail in her own wedding.
Today I’m guest posting over at her blog, Life is Suite about two of my favorite things…cake and paper. Go check it out and also see what other kinds of things Suite does so well! Becca and I have a ton of exciting ideas and projects developing so stay tuned…we just might even get Chris Zarconi involved!
