Howdy, Texas

By the time you read this today, I’ll be on a plane to Dallas, or maybe I’m already there. I’m visiting the Lone Star State for a week to visit with friends and take some work meetings. I’m super excited to reconnect with three of my favorite girlfriends from studying abroad in Paris. It’s going to be a fab time! Excuse me if a disappear for a few days on the blog – but be sure to follow all our fun and food on twitter and instagram. Yee-Haw!

Soft Rock

I’m totally digging the combo of light, lacy dresses and leather this spring. Even though I’m not riding around on motorcycles anymore, I still love my biker boots and I try to keep them out even when it’s warm out. This Revenge chick (and these other fab ladies), totally pull it off!

Fall Must-Have: Motorcycle Boots

So about a year ago, I wrote this little post about starting something new. I let down my guard, and let this new guy take me for a ride on his motorcycle, something I swore I’d never do. Turns out, it was exhilarating. The bike and the new guy.

Now that my summer vacation has passed, it’s time to start thinking about fall. This morning on a very early, sun-just-rising motorcycle ride, there was a drastic chill in the air. (Maybe an early earthquake warning sign!) Dressed in summer clothes, I clutched on to my guy, trying to keep warm.

So preparing for fall and cooler weather must mean new boots, right? (Probably my favorite fall thing along with pumpkin spice lattes, tweed and apple picking, of course.) I love all of these motorcycle boots…I just don’t know which ones to pick! Whichever ones I do buy, I’ll be pairing them with skinny jeans, slouchy sweaters, layered jewels, lightweight girly scarves, and a leather jacket for riding. A perfect outfit for trips to orchards, vineyards, Hanson concerts, or really any fun fall activity.

Help me out?
