Time for the weekend! I’ve got one of my best girls visiting for the weekend so I know that will include quality catch up time, good food (ok, when is there ever not good food?), and a little DC exploring. I’m definitely taking that extra day and dedicating it to creativity – time to get inspired and amped up for a new project or two I think! What’s on tap for you this long weekend? Yes, I think a bright coat and pink doughnuts should be included!

Hi! I saw your beautifully decorated studio on The Every Girl. I live in DC and will start to decorate a studio of my own. Do you have any tips for thrift stores or places for good, cheap finds in the city? I’d like to have some advice from you. :)

I love the lamp next to the bed (I always like the odd things). And, I love having super girly days… Just the other day my sister and I made fresh pasta, bought several bottles of wine and watched re runs of our favorite shows on television.
