Every day I’m feeling more and more optimistic about life. I love this because I’m starting to feel more like myself again. I know that there are great things ahead, and I’m getting excited to discover them.
It’s pretty warm in DC today, but I’m dreaming of a white Christmas – especially once I’m home with my family and we can cuddle up in big down blankets, eat leftover chocolate pound cake, and light a real fire. (Although my fake Netflix yule log is kind of amazing.)
I’ve got a few more busy days of work, parties and shopping ahead of me though. Then we can all slow down and just bask in the warmth and joy of the holiday.
Happy first night of Hanukkah too!

I love all of these things. And that sounds like the *perfect* family Christmas :)
these images make me so happy :) I literally tell people what that first image says all the time. Words to live by.
