So about a year ago, I wrote this little post about starting something new. I let down my guard, and let this new guy take me for a ride on his motorcycle, something I swore I’d never do. Turns out, it was exhilarating. The bike and the new guy.

Now that my summer vacation has passed, it’s time to start thinking about fall. This morning on a very early, sun-just-rising motorcycle ride, there was a drastic chill in the air. (Maybe an early earthquake warning sign!) Dressed in summer clothes, I clutched on to my guy, trying to keep warm.

So preparing for fall and cooler weather must mean new boots, right? (Probably my favorite fall thing along with pumpkin spice lattes, tweed and apple picking, of course.) I love all of these motorcycle boots…I just don’t know which ones to pick! Whichever ones I do buy, I’ll be pairing them with skinny jeans, slouchy sweaters, layered jewels, lightweight girly scarves, and a leather jacket for riding. A perfect outfit for trips to orchards, vineyards, Hanson concerts, or really any fun fall activity.
