i have so many photos and things to share from my trip to Nantucket. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about food so I thought I’d start off with our dinner at Millie’s, a new restaurant by Madaket beach.
For my DC friends, you probably know Jetties, Surfside, Something Sweet, Smith Point, the Rookery or the Bullpen at Nat’s Park…well those same folks also own Millie’s. (I was very excited when I found this out!)
The place was bustling and we had an excellent meal there with fresh seafood and good beer. So here’s a little taste. If you get to the island, I definitely recommend Millie’s. If not, be sure to check out one of their many great DC spots.

Alter Rock: chips with salsa, gaucamole and cheese dip.

Smith Point Tacos: Grilled shrimp in corn tortillas with Bartlett tomato and sweet corn salad, guacamole, and chili ranch dressing.

Steps Beach Quesadilla: Lobster, Bartlett tomatoes, grilled zucchini, jack and cheddar cheese.

Millie's Bridge Po Boy: Fried Belly clams with purple cabbage slaw and tarragon aoli.

Cisco Brewery Whale's Tail, of course.
